About ASG Aerospace

History:

ASG Aerospace was formed in 2008 by the founders of Avionic Support Group Inc. an avionics engineering and parts approval kit manufacturing company.

The founders wanted to expand their Avionic and maintenance services to foreign and domestic business jet owners/operators flying to the Caribbean, Central and South America.

Location:

ASG Aerospace is located in the Kendall Tamiami Executive Airport, 25 minutes from Downtown Miami and 35 minutes from Miami Beach and South Beach. The airport is also 45 minutes away from the Florida Keys, the Everglades and Byscaine National Park. The airport serves primarily business, recreational and private flights. As a reliever to Miami International Airport, Kendall Tamiami (KTMB) features a 6000 ft runway, no landing fees, quick and easy access, port of entry US customs facilities and full FBO services.

In 2008 Arthur Thompson assumed the position of Director of Maintenance and started the Repair Station with Alex Rodrigo as President. Arthur brought to the organization years of experience with Eastern Airlines, National Jets and other corporate jet repair stations servicing business aviation owner/operators.

In 2010 ASG Aerospace received INAC approval for a Venezuelan Repair Station Certificate. At this time, ASG Aerospace acquired numerous authorized dealerships for avionics and Wifi communication components.

In 2013 ASG Aerospace LLC. changed ownership and was rebranded under their new Logo insignia ASGA.

Arthur Thompson assumed the role of CEO and President.

The company added additional FAA licensed skilled Aircraft Maintenance technicians.

Mariana Thompson joined the Executive team and the Administrative Operations which provided the organization with Mariana's years of experience in computers and project management.

The company refocused its operations to be more technically efficient and responsive to customer's timely demands while positioning itself for growth.
